PaperVault ("the App") is developed by GreenRobotLabs. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our document scanning app.
Data Collection
We advocate for privacy by design. PaperVault operates completely offline.
- We do NOT collect personal information.
- We do NOT upload your scanned documents to any server.
- We do NOT track your usage or implement analytics.
- We do NOT sell your data to third parties.
Camera Access
PaperVault requires access to your device's camera to function as a document scanner.
- Purpose: To capture images of documents, receipts, and notes.
- Processing: All image processing (cropping, perspective correction, enhancement) happens strictly on your device.
- Storage: Images are stored locally in the app's private storage or your device's gallery, depending on your settings.
File Storage
Your scanned documents are yours.
- Documents are stored locally on your device.
- If you choose to export or share a PDF, the file is generated locally and handed off to the app you select (e.g., Email, Drive).
- Deleting the app will remove all locally stored documents unless you have separately exported them.
Children's Privacy
PaperVault does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
